O's Mind

As the sun sinks into the ocean,
The night crawls up my back.
Stuck in place like a stone.
I sit upon millions of myself,
Staring into her perfect painting.

Like a blanket of blissful light,
A loving comfort she sends me.
Draped around my eyes,
Her lively energy shields me from the black.

While the colors of the sky drown in darkness,
My mind is stuck afloat.
A new thought drifting in with each wave.
Only to be blown away by the wind.

As the tides push and pull,
Right here I’ll stay,
Night to night,
Day to day,
Paralyzed by beautys hand.
With my eyes in the sky,
And my toes in the sand.
