It is out of the ordinary for the universe to stand still. Energy tends to have a need to always be changing. You can see this in every day life, whether that be the winds blowing, the tides pulling, the plants growing or decomposing. These are all prime examples of the true flow of nature. Well, this doesn’t only apply to the outside laws of nature, this movement is also internal. Some examples being the flow of blood throughout your body, the exchange of air that passes through your lungs when you breathe, or even when the food that you eat is broken down by the digestive system. All simple examples of the universal flow of energy.
How does this apply to you and I?
Understanding this concept has benefitted me a ton. When I ask myself questions about what I want to do with my life or what my place in the universe is, I like to think bigger than myself. I am apart of nature, right? So how could I consciously ignore this fact when considering what might make me happy in life. I know it’s not a direct correlation to your everyday experience, but you have to think from a different perspective.
Lets focus on one of these questions, “What do I want to do with my life?”. When I wonder about this question, I know that I am not your average nine to five employee. Things get repetitive, the job gets boring. I see no personal benefit or gain besides the mediocre…
